
Cancellation & Payment Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY
Please note that all lessons are non-refundable.
1. LATE CANCELLATION/ NO SHOW POLICY
We understand that there are times when you will miss a lesson appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family.

If a lesson appointment is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance, in writing (via text or email), then the lesson will be chargeable. You will have to book and pay for a new lesson irrespective of the reason for your cancellation.

If you do not show up for your lesson appointment or you forget the lesson will be chargeable and you will have to re-book and pay for a new lesson.
In the unlikely event we cancel your lesson then we will reschedule your lesson free of charge.
2. DELAYED/LATE TO THE ONLINE LESSON APPOINTMENT
We understand that delays can happen however we must try to keep lesson appointment times to avoid delays and other pupils/students missing the start of their class. Ensure you are signed on to your computer/laptop/tablet 5-10 minutes before your lesson appointment time.
If a lesson was scheduled and you are more than 10 minutes late the lesson will be cancelled and still be chargeable. You will have to book and pay for a new lesson.
If you know you are going to be delayed and have sufficient time to inform us (with a minimum of 24 hours) then e-mail to cancel the lesson so it can be re-scheduled free of charge.
3. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY
If you know you cannot keep your lesson appointment and want to reschedule it, free of charge, you must cancel your lesson in writing and give at least 24 hours’ notice. You will have your lesson re-scheduled, free of charge, to the next convenient date and time. Please note, we will endeavour to find a suitable date and time for you within two weeks of the initial booking.
4. PAYMENTS
Once your payment has been received and collected, we will notify you that we have received your booking and mark your invoice with "paid."
If payment has been confirmed and you still have not received your paid invoice (typically within 2-3 working days) please contact us.
5. INVOICES, DISCOUNTS, PAYMENT AND FEES
We send invoices out with as much advance notice as possible. We list the dates of the lessons at the bottom (where applicable).
Please pay the invoice on time.
A discount is only applied when you purchase a bundle of 4 or more lessons.
Payment should be made in full prior to the first lesson of that invoice period. e.g. If the first lesson is on the 1st December then the invoice should be paid before that date.
If the invoice is not paid on time then we have the right to withdraw the discount.
If the invoice is overdue we have the right to remove the discount and then add a 25% penalty fee which will also be payable in addition to the lessons.
The penalty fee is 25% of the total amount due on the invoice. e.g. if the total invoice amount is £200.00 (without the discount) we will add a fee of £50.00.
6. FAIR USE POLICY
The Cancellation policy is subject to a fair use policy. Cancelling more than one lesson per week, or month or bundle will be seen as an overuse or abuse of the Cancellation policy. We reserve the right to make the 'cancelled' lesson chargeable, even if you have cancelled within the 24 hour notice period.
7. CHANGES
English Forum Online may modify or update this Cancellation Policy from time to time, so please review it periodically. We may provide you additional forms of notice of modifications or updates as appropriate under the circumstances.
Your continued use of English Forum Online the Service after any modification to this Cancellation Policy will constitute your acceptance of such modification.
Payment of the invoice is acceptance of the terms.
